    Resetting/Protecting triacs

After installation one of the (240V) lighting circuits had a short (testing afterwards showed resistance down to 5 ohms)

This was connected through a 5A round pin plug and socket to one of the triac outputs.

It seems as though all four triacs on the webbrick have blown - the digital machines react fine on the control panel, but no 240V come out.

I did power down the webbrick and back up but that did not help. Is there any sort of reset I can do. If not I guess I'll have to buy a new one.

I don't see this as a dramatic abuse of the brick, and might happen again - should I put a fuse on each triac output?

    Thanks,

    Richard

There is a 6.3Amp fuse internally, I suspect that this has blown given that all 4 outputs have gone. Not the easiest fuse to get at its purpose was to protect the unit and the PCBs.
