If you make changes to the event despatch configuration you need to stop and restart the webbrick gateway.

This can be done by logging into the appliance as root - see documentation and then entering

/etc/init.d/webbrick stop

To stop the gateway and

/etc/init.d/webbrick start

to start the gateway.

Check the error log after a start in case the changes break the system.
