    Rovio Notes

Rovio is a wandering robot web cam.

Image available at: http://10.20.20.1/GetData.cgi?427 when enclosed in image tag.

Has poor lighting LED, on white lead to PCB with IR send and 'headlamp'

Switching is made through the low side.

Assume this is the device you are talking about:

    Available from circa £250.

Yes, this is the device.  There are APIs and simple http calls to control direction and movement.

Basically a hours investigation with Richard W and Phil S because Richard has bought one.

At the moment the headlamp is pretty useless, but combined with WebBricks to switch on the lighting, its a pretty slick solution.

We found that the gateway webpages clogged up at 640x480x30ps but 10fps was fine.
