How do I program a press and hold for blind or window control

I am looking at some circuits like a window blind or a rotating winder that opens high sky lights and would like to use a 2 way momentary switch so the operator rocks in one direction for open and the other direction for close.

Is this possible and if so how?

I see how you can trigger an event on the up or down voltage drop or both but cannot find anything about continual events in any state.

You need to use 2 inputs, connect rocker common to ground and the other two contacts to different digital inputs.

Then try using both edge triggers to generate toggles

    or

Use a dwell to run motor.

Watch out: some motors have separate power feeds and you should not connect both at same time. The way round this is to use a Triac for mains power and a relay to select direction. You then use 2 scenes to select direction.
