    Gigabix or patch panel

Im a little confused as to whether to gigabix all switches AND network points - OR to gigabix light switches and patch the network points through conventional patch panel.

Other than gigabix being more expensive(how much more Im not sure - my installer says hes having a problem with patches) but less space consum, ing is there anything Im missing in this discussion?

I welcome input from you guys to help me decide

The main advantage of the Gigabix is the density and the fixed cables are on the bottom. They allow some reconfiguration but you should note that any punch down system is not designed for frequent changes.

I would suggest taking network points to a standard patch panel.
