Lights on as you enter a room rev. 1.2

    Hi all

Have tryed andy's idea about this but found it reletivly slow to triger the threshholds and not giving the desired effect

after many hours of differant configeration solutions and no gain. it appears that the only way of overcoming the problems described bellow is to add a dwell off or a dwell pause of some type to the firmware.

    Scenario:

I want to be able to walk in a room a certain scene to come on and if i want to change scene or turn lights off  I can. and when i leave the romm they go off after 5 min lets say

    Current config:

a Pir is wired into a Di and it recieves its power 5v from a Do, the pir is mounted in the switch plate with two buttons scene up and off

at present the pir triggers the scene i primerely want on a dwell which is great,

    Problems

If you've not already guessed when you touch the light switch to change scene or turn the lights off you imediatly trigger the pir and it reverts to scene1 for instance

and there you have it, so if anyone has any ideas other than dwell off then please let me know..

    Thank You

    Alex,

Could you use a pair of inputs setup as a rotary encoder (but without the encoder) this would give you a 'sortof' gating/logical and function with an element of bistable that would allow you to discriminate the preceeding state?
